Today, Poker Central and the Global Poker Index (GPI) announced that the second annual Global Poker Awards will take place on Friday, March 6, 2020 in the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino. After the success of the first global awards program, the event has expanded and will feature the presentation of more than 20 awards as well as new categories such as the Player’s Choice Award for Best All-Around Poker Player. The festivities will be streamed live on Poker Central’s direct-to-consumer OTT service, PokerGO.
The ceremony will bring together poker’s most talented players, personalities, and commentators vying for awards that include new and returning categories such as the GPI Poker Player of the Year, Event of the Year, Industry Person of the Year, and People’s Choice Award for Poker Personality of the Year. Last year’s winners included Ali Imsirovic, Justin Bonomo, Maria Ho, and Sarah Herring.Gpi Poker Awards 2019 Winners

The Global Poker Awards were launched in 2019 by combining multiple awards programs, including the GPI’s American Poker Awards and the European Poker Awards, into one star-studded ceremony to celebrate excellence both on and off the felt. Winners of the 2020 awards will be determined via an updated voting process led by a panel of experts in each category, as well as through a system of fan voting in several categories. Further detail on the process will be available in the coming weeks.

To visit this magical slot canyon, you need to be companied by a native Navajo tour guide. You can book the tour online or at the entrance booth. As the number of visitors allowed to the park is limited per day, the latter is only recommended during the off-season, from mid-October to mid-March. Pine Creek Gorge, Pennsylvania Also known as ‘Pensylvania’s Grand Canyon’, Pine Creek Gorge is almost 50 miles long and the maximum depth is 1450 feet (at Waterville). Ideal for nature lovers and fitness enthusiasts alike, think steep canyon walls, waterfalls and scenic hiking, surrounded by 165,000 acres of Tioga State Forest. The Lower Pine Creek Falls Trail is one of those rare hikes in Zion National Park that is not advertised by the park. Because of this, your chances of having the place all to yourself on a Saturday morning in the middle of the summer are pretty good. The deepest point of this 47-mile (76 kilometer) canyon is 1,450 feet (440 meters). If you’d like to reach it, go to the southern part of the gorge. Pine Creek Gorge was formed roughly 20,000 years ago, when the Laurentide Continental Glacier dammed it and formed a lake that later overflowed and carved a deep channel. To us here in the Wellsboro area, the canyon is a precious and gorge-ous natural resource. Its geology is severe and stunning, it is worth visiting and spending time here, that’s why we call it the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon, and that’s why we share it with people from all over the World.Pine Creek Gorge Slot Canyon Zion National Park
My next adventure would be a group hike organized by my friend Thomas (The Honey Badger) Mabry to one of the many audacious locations found within the wonderful ‘Mr. Badger`s Outdoor Neighborhood’. This adventure would take us to the upper realm of the Whitewater River in Jackson and Transylvania County (the county line runs down the river) located in Nantahala and Pisgah National Forest areas. The hike is listed as ‘extremely difficult’ and for most waterfall hikers that would be a true statement however, it would not apply to the ones who were included within this particular group. We would be seeing multiple waterfalls before this day was over starting with the appropriately named ‘Entrance Falls’ which lies at the entrance of what is known as the Upper Whitewater Slot Canyon. Access to these falls can be tricky as the easiest way requires going across a short section of private property within a sort of gated community but, our expert and very knowledgeable leader, the Badger, knew the precise route to follow to avoid any issues and we soon found ourselves on the other side of civilization and following the Upper Whitewater River into the Jocassee Gorge area of North Carolina. (Note: I thought at the time that we were going to the 800+ feet high Whitewater Falls ! I was a bit disappointed when I learned that we were not but, that quickly faded away when I first laid eyes on the Slot Canyon !)Pine Creek Gorge Slot Canyon Hike
